Big hujur said, “Then I will force the people who can operate the government to become ministers and say, ‘You have become ministers, why can’t you operate the country anymore? Operate the country, operate the ministry.’ Then the ministers will be forced to operate the ministry. “
I said, “Is this how the government of a country works?”
Big hujur said, “Of course he did. Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong would operate the government that way. Although they did not fully understand the economy and administration, they controlled the ministers at gunpoint. So for fear of death, their ministers tried hard to operate the ministry. Therefore, it is more important to control the ministers by force than to be a scholar on the relevant issues to operate the ministry.”
I said, “Where do you get people like that?”
Big hujur said, “We will bring in as many qualified people as there are people hiding in different parts of Bangladesh. If necessary, we will bring people from different parties and make them ministers. We will have the main power in our hands and they will act like puppets and run the ministry. “
I said, “And will you not bring in the wise men who are abroad and put them in the ministry?”
Big hujur said, “We will seize power at the risk of our lives. And will I bring spring cuckoos in the ministry from abroad? It won’t happen.”
I said, “What kind of people do you mean by spring cuckoo?”
Big hujur said, “I am referring to the opportunistic people who go abroad for their own benefit in the difficult times of the country and when the condition of the country is good, they come to the country and start playing games.”
I said, “Although you will not bring in scholars from abroad to be ministers, after the Iranian revolution, Imam Khomeini was brought in from abroad and made the Supreme Leader of Iran.”
Big hujur, “The Iranian revolutionaries then made Imam Khomeini the supreme leader for their own needs. But I do not need to bring in any knowledgeable or skilled person from abroad to operate the country as a minister. Because I and my people have the ability to operate the country.”
I said, “Well, if you can seize power, who will be the prime minister?”
Big hujur said, “Why? I will be the prime minister. Do I not have the qualifications to be the prime minister? And whether I have the qualifications or not, if I can seize power then I will be the prime minister. And who will be the prime minister without me? It won’t happen. “

বড় হুজুর বললেন,”তখন সরকার চালাতে পারে,এমন লোকদেরকে জোর করে মন্ত্রী বানিয়ে বলব,’মন্ত্রী হয়েছেন,আর দেশ চালাতে পারবেন না কেন?দেশ চালান, মন্ত্রণালয় চালান।’ তখন ঠিকই মন্ত্রীরা মন্ত্রণালয় চালাতে বাধ্য হবেন।”
আমি বললাম,”এভাবে কি কোন দেশের সরকার চলে?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”অবশ্যই চলে।জোসেফ স্ট্যালিন আর মাও সে তুং এভাবেই সরকার চালাতেন। নিজেরা অর্থনীতি আর প্রশাসন পুরোপুরি না বুঝলেও বন্দুকের মাধ্যমে মন্ত্রীদেরকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে রাখতেন। তাই মৃত্যুর ভয়ে তিনিদের মন্ত্রীরা মন্ত্রণালয় চালানোর জন্য আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করতেন। তাই মন্ত্রণালয় চালানোর জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে পণ্ডিত হওয়ার চেয়ে মন্ত্রীদেরকে বল প্রয়োগের মাধ্যমে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করার গুরুত্ব বেশি।”
আমি বললাম,” ওই ধরনের লোকদেরকে আপনারা কোথা থেকে আনবেন?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”বাংলাদেশের আনাচে কানাচে লুকিয়ে থাকা যত যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন ব্যক্তি আছে, তাদেরকে এনে আমরা মন্ত্রিত্বে বসাব। প্রয়োজনে বিভিন্ন দল থেকে লোক এনে আমরা তাদেরকে মন্ত্রী বানাব। মূল ক্ষমতা থাকবে আমাদের হাতে আর ওরা শুধু পুতুলের মতো আমাদের কথায় কাজ করবে আর মন্ত্রণালয় চালাবে।”
আমি বললাম,”আর বিদেশে যে জ্ঞানীগুণীরা আছেন তিনিদেরকে কি দেশে এনে আপনারা মন্ত্রিত্বে বসাবেন না?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”জীবনের ঝুঁকি নিয়ে আমরা ক্ষমতা দখল করব। আর বিদেশ থেকে এনে মন্ত্রিত্বে বসাব কি বসন্তের কোকিলদেরকে? এটা হবে না।”
আমি বললাম,”বসন্তের কোকিল বলতে আপনি কোন লোকদেরকে বুঝিয়েছেন?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”যে সকল সুবিধাবাদী লোকেরা দেশের দুঃসময়ে নিজেদের সুবিধার জন্য বিদেশে চলে যায় আর দেশের অবস্থা ভালো হলে দেশে এসে লীলা খেলা শুরু করে তাদেরকে আমি বসন্তের কোকিল বোঝাচ্ছি।”
আমি বললাম,”তাহলে আপনাদের যে বিলিয়নিয়ার অস্ত্র ব্যবসায়ী আছেন তিনিও তো বসন্তের কোকিল। তিনিকে এনে কি মন্ত্রী বানাবেন?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”আমার মনে হয় না আমাদের সেই বিলিয়নিয়ার মন্ত্রী হতে চাবেন। তিনি আমাদের সঙ্গে ঐক্যবদ্ধ হয়েছেন অস্ত্র ব্যবসার জন্য। এবং বাংলাদেশে নামমাত্র মূল্যে বিরাট আকারের জমি কেনার জন্য। তিনির কাছে মন্ত্রিত্বের চেয়ে ব্যবসা ও জমিজমার মালিক হওয়া বেশি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।”
আমি বললাম,”যিনিরা নিজেদের দেশ ছেড়ে অন্য দেশে চলে যান, সকলেই কি বসন্তের কোকিল? কার্ল মার্কস, আলবার্ট আইনস্টাইন প্রমুখ মহান ব্যাক্তি নিজেদের দেশ ছেড়ে অন্য দেশে স্থায়ী হয়েছেন। আপনি কি তিনিদেরকেও বসন্তের কোকিল বলবেন?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”না। তবে তিনিরা বসন্তের কোকিল না হলেও যে দেশে গিয়েছেন সে দেশে নিজেদের দেশের মতো যথেষ্ট সুবিধা পান নি। কার্ল মার্কস লন্ডনে বসবাস করলেও তিনি অত্যন্ত গরিবের মতো জীবন যাপন করতেন। আবার আলবার্ট আইনস্টাইন অন্য দেশে স্থায়ী হলেও নোবেল প্রাইজ পাওয়ার আগ পর্যন্ত কেরানির চাকরি করতেন। এবং বিশ্বের আরো অনেক জ্ঞানী-গুণী অন্য দেশে স্থায়ী হলেও তিনিরা কিছু সুযোগ সুবিধা পেয়েছেন। কিন্তু এর বেশি কিছু অর্জন করতে পারেননি। তাই তিনিরা বসন্তের কোকিল না হলেও অন্য দেশে গিয়ে যথেষ্ট সুযোগ-সুবিধা পাননি। কিন্তু আমাদের দেশের অনেকেই আছেন দেশ ও দলের দুঃসময়ে বিদেশে গিয়ে আমোদ ফুর্তি করেন। আর দেশের অবস্থা ভালো হলে দেশে এসে আমোদ ফুর্তি ও লীলাখেলা করেন। এরাই হচ্ছে আমার মতে বসন্তের কোকিল।”
আমি বললাম,”আপনি যদিও বিদেশ থেকে জ্ঞানী-গুণীদেরকে এনে মন্ত্রিত্বে বসাবেন না, কিন্তু ইরানের বিপ্লবের পর ইমাম খোমেনিকে বিদেশ থেকে এনে ইরানের সুপ্রিম লিডার বানানো হয়েছিল।”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”তখন ইরানের বিপ্লবীরা নিজেদের প্রয়োজনে ইমাম খোমেনিকে সুপ্রিম লিডার বানিয়েছিল। কিন্তু আমার কোন প্রয়োজন নাই বিদেশ থেকে কোন জ্ঞানী গুণী অথবা দক্ষ ব্যক্তিকে এনে মন্ত্রী বানিয়ে দেশ চালানোর। কেননা দেশ চালানোর যোগ্যতা আমার ও আমার লোকদের আছে।”
আমি বললাম,”আচ্ছা, আপনারা ক্ষমতা দখল করতে পারলে প্রধানমন্ত্রী কাকে বানাবেন?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”কেন? আমি হব প্রধানমন্ত্রী। আমার কি প্রধানমন্ত্রী হওয়ার যোগ্যতা নাই? আর যোগ্যতা থাকুক আর না থাকুক, আমি যদি ক্ষমতা দখল করতে পারি তাহলে আমি হব প্রধানমন্ত্রী। আর কাকে বানাব প্রধানমন্ত্রী? ক্ষমতা দখল করব আমি আর প্রধানমন্ত্রী বানাব আরেকজনকে, এটা হবে না।”
আমি বললাম,”আচ্ছা, আপনিই যদি ক্ষমতা দখল করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী হন তাহলে রাষ্ট্রপতি কাকে বানাবেন? ড. কামালকে নাকি ড. ইউনুসকে?”(চলবে) ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
