আমাকে বদর আলি বলেছিল,কোনভাবেই আমরা এই ঘাঁটি থেকে পালাতে পারব না। কিন্তু বড় হুজুরকে বলে দেখছি,তিনি আমাকে যেতে দেন কি না।এক্ষেত্রে টিক্কা খান ও লালু চৌধুরীর কথাও আমি পরে বলব,আমাকে যদি বড় হুজুর যেতে দিতে রাজি হন।
আমার এ কথা শোনে বড় হুজুর ভ্রু কুঁচকে বললেন,”কেন বাড়ি যেতে চাও?আমরা কি খারাপ?”
আমি বললাম,”আপনারা ভালো না কি মন্দ সেটা হচ্ছে একটা আপেক্ষিক ব্যাপার। তাই আপনাদেরকে আমি ভালোও বলছি না আবার মন্দও বলছি না।
বড় হুজুর বললেন,” তুমি এ কথার দ্বারা কী বুঝাতে চাচ্ছ?”
আমি বললাম,” আপনারা মদ খান না, গাঁজা খান না, আকাম কুকাম করেন না – এই দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে আপনারা খুব ভালো মানুষ। কিন্তু আপনারা প্রচলিত রাজনীতি না করে ষড়যন্ত্রের মাধ্যমে রাষ্ট্রের ক্ষমতা দখল করতে চাচ্ছেন- এই কারণে কি আপনাদেরকে ভালো বলা উচিত? তাই আমি আপনাদেরকে ভালোও বলছি না আবার খারাপও বলছি না। আর আপনাদের এই ঘাঁটিতে কোন ধরাবাধা নিয়ম নাই।সকালে নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে ঘুম থেকে উঠার কোন ঝামেলা নাই- এটা বেশ আরামের বিষয়। কিন্তু পড়াশোনার ব্যবস্থা নাই। আর বাড়ির জন্য আমার মন কাঁদছে।”
বড় হুজুর তখন হোঃ হোঃ করে হেসে বললেন,”ছেলেটা বলে কী? ভালো খারাপের নৈতিক কথা বলছে। এ সকল নৈতিকতার তাত্ত্বিক সংজ্ঞা আমাদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য না। আমরা ক্ষমতা দখলের জন্য নিজেদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করতে প্রস্তুত হচ্ছি। আমাদের ক্ষেত্রে ওইসব তাত্ত্বিক নৈতিকতা প্রযোজ্য না।”
আমি বললাম, “কেন প্রযোজ্য হবে না? আপনারা কি আইন ও নৈতিকতার ঊর্ধ্বে?”
বড় হুজুর বললেন,”আমরা সরাসরি অস্ত্র দিয়ে ক্ষমতা দখল করতে যাচ্ছি। তাই এ ধরনের নৈতিকতার তর্ক আমাদের ক্ষেত্রে কোন প্রযোজ্য হবে না। এবং এ ধরনের নৈতিকতার তর্ক দিয়ে ক্ষমতা দখল করা যায় না, আবার ক্ষমতা সকল সময় টিকিয়েও রাখা যায় না। মূলত ক্ষমতা টিকিয়ে রাখতে হলে অবশ্যই অস্ত্রের ক্ষমতা প্রয়োজন আছে।তাই আমরা আমাদের প্রয়োজনে যেটা করব সেটাই ঠিক। এবং আমাদের প্রয়োজনে আমরা যেটা করতে নিষেধ করব সেটাও ঠিক। তুমি কি জানো না যে, একেক দেশে একেক দল ক্ষমতায় গিয়ে নিজেদের মতো করে আইন ও সংবিধান পাশ করে এবং বাতিল করে। সেটা তো নিজেদের সুবিধা অসুবিধা বিবেচনা করেই করে। সৌদি আরবে যেটা অবৈধ, সেটা ইরানে বৈধ। আবার যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে যেটা বৈধ, রাশিয়াতে সেটা অবৈধ। তাই বলে কি এক দেশের তুলনায় আরেক দেশ খারাপ হয়ে হয়েছে? আর বাড়ির জন্য মন কাঁদে মেয়েদের। বিশেষ করে যাদের অল্প বয়সে বিয়ে হয়। স্বামীর অফুরন্ত ভালোবাসা পাওয়া সত্ত্বেও এই ধরনের অল্পবয়সী বধূরা বাবার বাড়ি যেতে কান্নাকাটি করে। কিন্তু তুমি তো ছেলে মানুষ।তোমার তো মন কাঁদার কোন কথা না।আর পড়া -শোনা আমার লাইব্রেরিতেই করতে পারবে।আমার এখন বই পড়া লোকের দরকার। কেননা,রাস্তার পাগলের হাতে বন্দুক তুলে দিলে সেও চালাতে পারে। কিন্তু যাকে তাকে লাইব্রেরিতে বসিয়ে দিলে বই পড়তে পারে না।আমরা তো ক্ষমতা দখলের জন্য বন্দুকবাজ লোক তৈরি করতে পেরেছি, কিন্তু ক্ষমতা দখলের পর সরকার চালানোর মতো বই পড়ুয়া লোক এখনো তৈরি করতে পারিনি।”
আমি বললাম,”আচ্ছা,যদি বই পড়ুয়া লোক তৈরি করা অথবা সংগ্ৰহ করার আগেই ক্ষমতা দখল করতে পারেন,তাহলে সরকার চালাবেন কী করে?”(চলবে)
